Situated in a disused parking lot of an industrial site in Retreat, this storage facility strategically caters to the surrounding areas of Tokai, Retreat, Constantia, and Diep River.
Architectural Design and Accessibility: The architects, Peerutin Karol, crafted a design that maximizes efficiency and convenience. The facility's prime location on the outskirts of Retreat, visible from the M3, ensures accessibility. The building's massing is influenced by vehicle turning circles, accommodating various car and truck sizes. The layout is designed with loading bays, security, and storage sizes meeting the specific requirements of Stor-Age.
Storage Unit Specifications: Stor-Age, in collaboration with the architects, prioritized efficiency and security. All units are in increments of 3 sq.m, with corridors proportionate to the size of units on each floor. This layout ensures a certain percentage of efficiency, meeting the client's goal of an acceptable return on investment.
