They say you can never know it all. But you can always strive to learn and be closer to knowing as much as you can.
This is the attitude our principal and mentor, Fabio Gallotta, constantly teaches the Safcom family. Fabio's passion to keep learning and pass on the useful and wide-ranging knowledge in the property industry has created an environment within the Safcom family that by helping teach one another that we are able to provide a better service to clients and really being able to appreciate that you can always learn from each other.
Fabio was recently spent a week in Johannesburg attending a course in Conveyancing presented by The Centre for Conveyancing, a Gawie le Roux Enterprise and seen as the place conveyancers and would be conveyancers go to learn everything there is to know about conveyancing (conveyancing is the legal act of transferring an ownership interest in property from one party to another. The course, which consisted of three modules which included both the Theory and Practical Case Study of Conventional Deed of Transfer and Mortgage Bonds Registration and Cancellation Procedure, was presented by Melissa Smit, a highly regarded and respected senior conveyancing typist with years of experience.
Having completed the course Fabio had this to say:
“The course has definitely assisted, knowing what I know now I hope will not just benefit me but I hope my colleagues as well. The learning does not end now that the week is over. I hope to educate my colleagues and our clients, so they too can benefit from the additional knowledge I now have taken from the course. Whether engaging with conveyancers during the sales process or informing purchasers and sellers of the process and ensuring all of the property information is accurate and the necessary information is provided by the relevant parties.”
